Tour coming soon

We film each house room by room. Lagoon House is in the schedule — until then, the photographs are all honest.

Try one that’s ready
  • Straight into the reef

The house sits at the edge of the drop-off. Rays most mornings, reef sharks at dusk.

  • Glass floor in the lounge

Two square metres of it. You will lose an hour a day to this.

  • Nobody else

The nearest other structure is 1.1 km across the lagoon.

One villa, on stilts, at the far edge of a lagoon in Raa Atoll, with a ladder from the deck straight into about three metres of water and a reef drop-off four metres beyond that.

The building is plain on purpose — timber, white plaster, a lot of glass — because everything interesting is outside it. There is a two-square-metre glass panel in the lounge floor, which sounds like a gimmick and turns out to be where you spend your evenings.

Half board is included and brought over by boat. The transfer is a twenty-five-minute seaplane from Malé, which is itself worth the trip.

“There is a reef four metres from your ladder. Go in before breakfast, when the light comes through at an angle.”

“We snorkelled off the ladder twice a day for a week and saw something new every time. Manta rays on the fourth morning. Still processing it.”

“Complete isolation, which is rare and which we needed. The glass floor at night with the deck lights on is mesmerising.”
HarrietCape Town · August 2026
“Expensive but the half board is genuinely good food, not resort buffet. Aminath's team are invisible until you need them.”
AndresBogotá · July 2026
“Two people only, which is correct. This is not a place to bring a group. It is a place to be quiet in.”
