A concept by PARIAH
About Lumen
The concept
Know the light before you book.
Lumen is a design study by PARIAH. It asks what booking a stay would feel like if the listing were the place itself: every room photographed as it is, the good ones walkable end to end, the total on the card the total you pay.
Nothing here takes a booking. The stays, hosts, prices and reviews are fictional. The interactions are real: walk Villa Sunda room by room, search the map, price a week.
Host with us
A house worth walking through.
If Lumen were real, it would list very few places: buildings that are the reason for the trip. Each would be shot on site, room by room, and walked in one continuous take, so a guest knows the house before they arrive.
It isn't taking hosts. If you have a house like that and want to talk about how it could be shown, PARIAH would like to hear from you.

About the project.
Lumen was designed and built by PARIAH as a concept: liquid-glass interface, a globe that hands its camera to the map, and a video walkthrough that moves room to room with no cuts and no loading.
