Villa Ràvena
Six terraces of lemon trees, and a house at the top of them.
Tour coming soon
We film each house room by room. Villa Ràvena is in the schedule — until then, the photographs are all honest.
A working lemon grove
Six terraces of sfusato amalfitano, still harvested. You are welcome to help, or not.
The whole bay
Positano falls away below the main terrace. You can see the Li Galli islands on a clear day.
Cook here
A twelve-seat outdoor table under the pergola, and a kitchen built for actually using.
An 1890s farmhouse on the Positano hillside, still surrounded by the lemon terraces it was built to work. Giulia's family has had it for four generations and the restoration was careful rather than fashionable — the floors are the original majolica, and the kitchen is new but pretends not to be.
The house steps down the slope so that every room has a door onto something. The main terrace holds a twelve-seat table under a pergola of vine, and below it the grove drops away toward the sea in six stages.
The town is a 280-step descent, which takes eight minutes down and considerably longer up. There is a bus. Most people take it once and then walk anyway.

“The lemons are not decoration. Take as many as you can carry, and there is a press in the kitchen.”
